Hey guys! I've seen a fair amount of complaints with the lantern running out of oil and was wondering if it'd be at all possible to add a match when out of oil? Maybe give it low light or something along those lines.

I think, it's better to get the player opportunity to have the oil in your inventory and use it whenever you want. Can't see a reason why it should be directly in the lantern only. This also gives a chance to play more with lowered brightness/gamma to feel a horror atmosphere better.

That could work too, I personally had no issue with it, just trying to find a solution so people can enjoy this mod more haha

Yeah, I pondered that during the dev process. I didn't want to add another thing for the coders to worry about, though. But, it's sound like a better idea all the time.

It's all about saving money and whale oil ;) . But, we'll see what we can do with it in v.1.1.
