Heath Games' Second installment of the Horror Mod series, "Half-Rats". Taking place in July of 1883. Soundtrack courtesy of Ague. Beware, this mod is pretty much NOTHING like Half-Life.

Today I want to tell you my theory about Cheroots, completely normal cat with completely normal abilities. [You have to read hrp bestiary in order to understand]

According to legends, cats live between two worlds and protect humans from evil spirits. Death of the Hellmouth affected our little feline friends too. But due to the fact that cats are alive, they haven't turned in zombies or demons. Instead they brought their abilities from another world (intelligence, immortality, strength, teleportation) while still having bodies from our world. There are many stories about cats showing supernatural powers even nowadays. It's possible that in another world superior beings started to behave like normal cats. That's why he also called as Half-Cat. So what is that another world? I think those creatures are from hell because the problem with essence affected it. But they're good demons, not evil ones. So called brownies are considered as unholy but they protect home from evil spirits.

The other theory is that cats are manifestations of angels for our world and all of those powers are from God. When demons attacked the Earth, angels boosted cat abilities to help humans by killing the unholy. But why they don't use their true forms? I think that's because they have enough energy to not let them on Earth or angels don't want to accidentally harm people (seraphs, in example, cover their bodies with wings because they're so bright that can burn everything).

Next theory will be about Trask, but it's more like interesting detail

Interesting! Good to see fans coming up with their own theories. Also, just to avoid any confusion for those reading the HRAFD and HRP bestiaries: "Hellmouth" is called "Essence Keeper" in the HRP Bestiary. His full name is Hellmouth the Essence Keeper, so either abbreviaton is correct ;) .

Can't wait to read about Trask!
