A compilation of my three previous mods, "HTC", "Autonomy Lost" and "Abeyance", into one large mod. Contains new stuff as well improvements into both the gameplay and level design based on feedback from the Half-Life community.
Even if you've played the previous mods I'd highly recommend playing through Half-Life: Sum just to see all the new additions and improvements.
I don't have a set release date but it'll be very soon. Keep an eye on the download section.

Did you picked textures from unreleased Nightwatch mod?
The mapping detailization reminds me Half-Life: Echoes
This textures from unreleased Nightwatch mod
absolutely phenomenal mod. The level design and overall atmosphere was really nice, also the mod not being so combat-oriented let me take my time to immerse myself and look at all the details set in each map.
My only real gripe with the mod would be near the end when you have to reactivate some teleporters (?), the pitch black void makes the parkour a bit of a nuisance and if I use my NVGs the flash from activating the terminals does get pretty annoying too.
But all in all it's a pretty nice change of pace from your usual action packed sequences, a definite 10/10 from me.
ok i'm in the teleport part after finding the suitcase but i get "ed_alloc no free edicts" on a non steam version
what can i do?
this has to be one of my favorite Half-Life mods. it gives you the idea that you're playing as an HECU, but then you quickly get the notion that this is a horror mod and won't be getting the action you're used to in Half-Life or even Opposing Force. very different and more shocking take on Half-Life than you're used to seeing. someone here also said they got some Silent Hill 4: The Room vibes, and I can 100% agree. was a nice little trip down memory lane from when I was younger and had it on my PS2. again, this mod is among my favorite, and I've written a little fanfic of what could happen to Jane after the ending.
Appreciate it.
Yeah, this is definitely more horror orientated than the original games especially the middle and end parts. I've always been more of a fan of games with a thicker atmosphere and slower pace of gameplay than your usual run and gun type of scenario.
It was a quite dark and creepy adventure.
Unusual level design and sound work noticeably set this campaign apart from others.
A great recreation of Henry's room from Silent Hill 4 at the end.
The overall design of the maps reminded me a great custom campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 - Buried Deep.
I did not encounter any serious bugs, although I used the updated DLLs from files section - Half-Life: Sum updated game libraries.
Despite the fact that we do not hear her speech, do not see her face and her appearance and don't know almost nothing about her, it would be nice to know about her future fate.
Thanks. Always fun when people recognize the Silent Hill 4 reference.
Personally I liked the red and blue Half-Life shipping containers more.
wow something new
