I agree, v2 had a lot more features and stuff than v3 but it was too buggy.
I'm thinking of redoing the original v2.0.1 release. Making it run properly on Steam, WON without crashing. HL:R_Legacy.

It comes with the complete sdk and demo maps. It contains nearlly all features from old V2.0.1.
I don't really see a source code. only the map sources for the render. And that doesn't get rid of the watermark on the game.
