Updated demo for Half-Life: Insecure, featuring 1-4 chapters in one folder.
VERSION 2 BUG FIXES AND CHANGES:
- Reduced the health of Chapter 3's helicopter.
- Added more cover from the tank on Chapter 3's finale.
- Fixed some of the doors opened by the grunts.
- Tweaked some of the maps in Chapter 3.
- Added more autosaves.
THIS DEMO INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:
- Chapter 1 through 4 are playable in this build.
- Updated code using the SDK from the TWHL Community.
- 25th Anniversary update supported (menu restored, HUD rescale, old weapon-bob).
- Original low definition models are default now instead of the HD ones.
- Visual and gameplay changes in some maps.
- Added Otis and the Desert Eagle.
INSTALLATION:
- You must own Half-Life on Steam in order to play this mod. It's not compatible with Half-Life: Source or the CD retail ones. Compatibility with Xash3D source port is not guaranteed.
- Select the "insecuredemo" folder, right click and choose Move or Copy.
- Locate where your Half-Life is installed. In Steam, select Half-Life in your library, right click then Properties > Installed Files and select Browse...
- Paste the "insecuredemo" folder. Restart Steam and "Half-Life: Insecure 1-4 Demo" should appear in your library.

Just finished the demo, great in most parts, good job! Things I mentioned - soundtrack tries to play CD and can't, MP3s do not work too. Also I had a bug with the door (can't tell the map) which has to be opened by soldiers from the inside with gas welding. But it just opened on my approaching.
Thank you for trying the demo! Although i'm not sure what's the issue with the soundtrack, worked fine on my end. And about that door bug, i think it's a missing flag, so it'll be a quick fix.

That's the issue.
cl_filterstuffcmd has to be set to 0 for single player...
Interesting. Although i've checked the demo config file and the cvar it's 0 by default, so it could be that the cvar had been carried over by your game.
Hi, this may be a stupid question since I don't know anything about modding, but does this work with half life MMod? And if so, how can I run it using MMod?
You could try it, but it's not guaranteed it will work correctly.
Pretty good so far. Only real issues were the tank locking onto the manhole the moment the map loaded and softlocking me because I couldn't get out and away from it in time, and the helicopter afterwards not going down to every rocket I had left (like 9-10) on Easy.
These issues seem to have been fixed in the new version of the demo

The Half-Life: Insecure update has been released from chapters 1 to 4, and what?
Nothing special, at least a chapter selection system and a manual (not built-in) flashlight would be added
Three-dimensional skybox also of workers/zombie workers and others
For example, medical soldiers or engineer soldiers from the opposing force
Maybe port it to half life source or recreate it in xash 3d...?
this demo does not work on steam_legacy version, although the previous one worked
