(OLD) Half Life: GTE BETA file - Half-Life 1 & 2: Google Translate Edition mod for Half-Life

This build includes:

-Scientists, Security Guard, G-man, Tram Ride, and Nihilanth have been fully translated and revoiced.

-HECU Grunts story dialogue has been translated

-Black Mesa Announcement system has been 40-50% translated

-All models with text have been retranslated and retextured

-User Interface and in-game titles are 90% translated

-Map textures are around 40% complete.

-Some small changes to a few weapon models to keep things interesting

-Some weird HEV suit modification I made a while ago while the suit's voice remains untranslated

-Edited some numbers in "skill.cfg" to make difficulty settings more interesting. In "That's Right" (easy), both you and the enemies take longer to die, while in "Difficult" (hard) everyone dies quicker.

Installation guide: drag all of the contents of "HL GTE" into your "steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life/valve" folder.

I tried to get as much done with this project as I possibly could before school started, but I was plagued with a busy work schedule and unexpected last-minute technical problems that led to the mod becoming "replace only." Once school starts up, I will not be working on HL GTE until *possibly* May. If anyone else wants to pick up the development of this while I'm in school, message me. Until then, I hope you enjoy experiencing Half-Life in this new and wacky way.
