After extracting this to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods and restarting Steam the mod appeared in my game library, but it crashes silently after Valve intro movie.
yup, same here. After installing SDK, valve video, menu loading, and it crashes.

Right click Source sdk base 2013 and go to properties then go to BETAS and choose upcoming. See if that fixes it.

C:\Games\Stema\steamapps\sourcemods that's mine.
I find it easier to use 7zip supports winrar etc..
Right click on file you downloaded. you will see 7zip, extract to sourcemods folder. Start steam.
dont forget setup the zip app to use context menu (Right Click)

Because it does not work! Have you ever tested it on a completely fresh install (Windows + Steam + HL2 + mod) on a virtual machine, or anyone else's computer who does not regulary install HL2 mods?
yes my friend which is also co owner of mod tested it, DBH tested it and a few hl2 mod youtubers played it and it worked

really creative like this is not a joke and for some reason, it overall looks good like inhumanly good lighting and cubemaps like nothing I've ever seen on the source engine and the splicing of pre-existing audio along with its recontextualization was brilliant if you need a texture artist i would love to work with you crazy sons of guns
