I would personally reccomend splitting the wall into top/bottom halves and having each be a different texture, preferably two that look good with each other. Making it a single, increased scale texture would still be repetetive and low-res to boot.

Displacements need a lot of work. Terrain in reality doesnt have spikes on it. And the textures are... Well... The obvious.
