Full Version 3 commentsI am not sure how stable this version was... but it is here if you guys want to try it out...
This is a mod for the game shogo that is intended to complete shogo in ways that it was never thought of upon it's incomplete release in '98.
While the project is 2 years running and I have made numerous changes progress is slow and leasurely. However, to compensate the players for the long delay I release many playable betas.
The mod adds the ability to play as the enemy mechs, new colors oodles of new effects, the ability to DM in single player levels and more. That is at the 40% marker. This is a labor of love and will be long in the making but shogo has been around for 7 years and it's community will exist for a long time.
PLease check it out. I hope that the shogoers out there will enjoy.

Hi smoth! I know modding lithtech isn't a top priority for you right now, but I have to ask, have you heard of the plugin for blender that can import/export lithtech abc v6 models?

Hey Smoth, your mod was pretty cool and yeah Shogo was pretty kickass! Hell, that's the game that got me into the whole pc 3D first person shooters as a whole back in my middle school years. Great mod man, and you did an awesome job on the multiplyer options of piloting the unplayable mechs in the oringinal release of this game back in 98! Would love to see more from you man, and I didn't know you were a Gundam fan. Me I like Gundam, but I'm ******* more into Macross especially the movie DYRL! But the Gundam I like was the 0080: War in the Pocket Alex Gundam because it was the dude who did Macross that designed the Gundam and Mobile Suits in that series, so it was his spin on Gundam. But yeah, kickass mod and if you have some time maybe you can finish it, but we're not rushing you dude, have a good one :)!!!
Met Mari Iijima once, and heard her sing dyrl about 10 feet away. super nice lady!
Did work on a gundam mod a while back but no way to continue with the current global lockdown on I.P. anyway, might do an indepedendant mecha related thing.
fwiw, war for cybertron and fall of cybertron by high moonstudios had a great transformation/combat system that you should try!
Been really unhealthy for a while now, seems like my health is stabilizing. so we'll see what I get into. not sure if it'll be something else, or fps, rts though.

The last update was 4 years ago, there's pretty much only a 0.000000000001% chance or so that this might actually be active.
The creator of the mod is still around, there might a small chance this will be resumed but I wouldn't bet on it.
Yea i'm surprised there are still a lot of people who are still playing shogo
i wish they'd continue it or something or like remake it
it was a good game the story was alright too
it left some gray areas but still over all it was good
can't wait for the complete mod tho
Agreed! They need to reboot this game. We need more mech based games, yeah we have Titanfall but I mean we need more mech games with anime and japanese culture (and maybe hentai but that's in Japan) and Shogo was the only one for that time to have that sort of kickass ****!!!! But yeah, I'm surprised other game companies haven't jumped on this, meh I don't know.... just saying :/. Maybe a Kickstarter project in the future???? :/ :/? :) :) :), that would be cool!!!
