Ever fancied rampaging down a Japanese city street in your own four-story high suit of molten-metal Armor? In Shogo: MAD, you can choose from four ultra powerful transforming Mobile Combat Armor suits, each with its own advantages and strengths. Find tons of powerups and enhancements to improve your MCA's performance. With separate arsenals for both MCA and on-foot modes, you can wield over 20 incredibly powerful weapons. Then battle more than 20 enemies who want to survive as badly as you do. State-based AI and custom scripting force you to think before you act. Fortunately, you will have some help from your friends. One of the best games on the market at the time of release. I still have the cardboard window display for this game.
This game was amazing!
Although, if you have a new, fancy, post-2002 computer... it probly won't run.

interesting..... but what about the localisation ? is the game still available in french ? i liked it back when i was a kid....
This game was a favourite of mine years' ago. The sniping is really fun in it. I solved it on two different difficulty levels but the hardest difficulty is insanely hard. I was a bit sad when I read about stuff they planned for the game but had to cut out, like a childhood basketball flashback was one of the things iirc.
i got all excited seeing this here and for some reason thought my prayers had been answered and it got re-released in HD.
and now i am sad.

This game is AWESOME! I still remember playing this as a child. The kick *** intro with great music. Back then I didn't even realized that it was in Japanese xD
Yes, i think this is the best mech game to date. they need to make more games like this. front mission evolved will be just like this you should check it out.
