Gostown Paradise is a scratch made total convertion for Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas. It needs a 1.0 version of that game to work correctly. Installation is automated to avoid problems, but you sometilmes have to map clean depending of your system. For more technical questions read the F.A.Q post.
May I resume : this project is about a big island lost into the sea between tropical archipelagos. On top of this one is a enormous city. A city in which you can feel alot of differents athmosperes, NY style, Gang style, and industrial. The simple fact a metropolis as been build on top of a mountain by 700 meters high is something amazing itself. The scenario is yet to be decided...

Due to a moving to Grand Theft Auto : IV, we decided to finish Gostown Paradise with the version 7 which will be released for Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas, and IV simultaneously. The SA progress will be shown on this profile, and the IV one on its respective profile

Since early March we've spent a lot of our freetime on the mod, we've finished the first island for a while now, and are finishing this second one, where the docks and an airport are based. There's still loads of things to do around, now that we've got the baseland everywhere.
We're gonna start building modeling pretty soon, and fill the whole city. Stay tuned for more news and update, Gostown Paradise 0.05 is coming along nicely.

This mod is based on White Gold:War in paradise game? (also know by Xenus2 in russian version)

Its still alive! I need to post some damn news but I'm not sure how to do them in Moddb.
Basically, Paroxum has some stuff to do so now I'm in leadership the mod. Release must be somewhere like June or so.
new stuff coming are more lots in the city, a small island, MISSIONS... and cars.

Don't listen to the firsts ones as they're about our previous versions, so just look at the last 50 pages or so for updates :D
Games crash in half of loading. What can i do?
PS. I've got GTA SA v1.
PS2. Does cleo script can crash it?
Check that there isn't a file called 'gta_int.img' in the Models folder inside the game directory. if there is, delete it, and check... if it still crashes, you should tell what you did!
Hey there, sorry for leaving this page a bit unnactive but we usually just post in the GTAforums.
This mod is not dead, we have done progress on a new mini-island for the mod and a airport (that replaces the blank white part in the game)
IF you didn't hear yet, Gostown 7 is stopped. The project was too much big for our team, so we decided to step back to gostown 6 and continue from there. Soon, another release :)

Good mod, i thought it was supposed to be a ghosttown ? but i see people like in normal gta. have i done something wrong.
No not Ghosttown! Gostown Paradise is a mod for gta sa its a beutiful island with tropical plants and oases and in the middle a small town like new york (new york extrem mini^^) and its a normal mod not a ghost or horror mod
