i consider altering the fire power of units as a cheat.. why? you could code in what ever amount of damage for the unit.. you could even code in the ranger to be able to destroy tanks in one shot. to power up and down units you have to look for a specific INI code, in generals (not zh) i found a part there which lets me alter the the amount of damage a unit could cause.. but it is best not to do so. the codes are written in a configuration settings notepad. those note pads are contained within a folder called INI, but that is for CNC generals.

i'd like to set the dmg of the tomahawk storm
because super weapon gen in contra makes a sh*tload of defences and 8 tomahawk storms. if its less powefull it makes me able to win the game(yes i'm a wuss)

that map has a map.ini which I used to power up the god emperor for that map only.
The other overlords have their original stats but the BMs and defences have reduced health.
hmm, no wonder the Gauss guns looked like sticks being snapped in two by the overlords.
