Hi guys After a lot of time working on actual game developent, I decided to release a small skin addon mod for the vanilla Generals. This is my tribute to this awesome game. All objects was made to remember the 2000's war on middle east. Remember, it is just a skin mod. Not changes on the awesome original gameplay from the game. This is an 1.0 version. This are some few renders from the units game
Would the type 88 Images.app.goo.gl fit better for the Chinese than the T-54/T-55 that already use for GLA's scorpion tank. Or even better, Type 96 first prodution model (no ERA) Images.app.goo.gl.
This is the Type 88. Btw, the Type 88 is a slighly different chassis from the T55. Basically same model with a different gun. There's not much difference between then, since they share same T55 hull with some chinese stuff on it like the headlights on the side skirts, some toolbox on the tank turret and the lathercover on the barrel guard. But its basically the same. As I did.
Hmmm, i think you got it wrong. The Type 80/88 is a bit larger than the Type 59/T-54/55, it have british 105mm L7 gun instead of 100mm soviet gun, and have smaller 6 wheels instead of t-55's 5 big wheels. Also the cannon of type 88 have the bore evacuator on the middle of the gun, the soviet one have it on the front.

And the choice of the type type 88 also odd too. Because the type 88 tank is not the main stay of china, it only as technology testing platform and for export market, only ~300 in service of PLA. The backbone of Chinese army tank are the Type 96 tank, ~1000 Type 96 and ~1200 Type 96A

I think that you got my mod wrong. Im just doing what the original command and conquer tried with the original units. Like the china battlemaster actually resambles the type 80. So thats why I did pick this though. About overlord being the type99, I know its experimental, so as the overlord tank is such an experimental thing too
But someday I'll probably change the turret and the wheels. Thanks for the suggestion
Hi JLigeiroart, could it be possible that you make an addon to replace the current Type 55 model for the PLA Battlemaster tank to Type 80, 6 roadwheels and 105mm cannon Images.app.goo.gl.
Or with the 1st version of type 96 tank, its stil have the rounded look of Battlemaster tank Images.app.goo.gl
The reason for the change is, the gla have the the t-54/55 model for their scorpion, and the Battlemaster is better than them but still share the same look Drive.google.com. Also, could you change the Ak-74 on the Gla rebel to the akm model, and the ranger's m249 to m16a2 (they did say assault rifle when you switched back to machine gun mode), the red guard's mosin to SKS (type 56 rifle Images.app.goo.gl).
