The next unit for GAR is the All Terrain Open Transport.

AT-OT is a support vehicle in general, for now it's planned mainly as troop transport, e.g. for planets with environment, dangerous to infantry, but I really want to add something more as ability to it. Please tell us in the comments any suggestions and ideas that you have in mind :)

Hmm...maybe for an ability it can do the vanilla AT-AT "deploy reinforcements" since it can carry more soldiers than an AT-TE. As a dedicated troop and cargo transport, it wouldn't be out of sorts to have some extra men.

It's probs not possible but it would be cool if it could act like a mobile bunker, with troops inside being able to fire their weapons at enemy targets from within.
We had the similar idea and it was already suggested but so far it's not possible

Only way to do that is to break immersion by having troops on the mesh firing even when it's empty.
Yes, I already thought about adding clones on the top acting as turrets, I just have problems with the implementation at the moment

Seeing as its an open top transport, how about having the ability for soldiers inside to shoot out?

an ability like the arty in the vanilla game, but with blasters and healing instead of torpedos? that way one could get a mobile base to defend chokepoints
Blue_Fyre , what abilities are you reffering, I can't remember artillery firing torpedoes??
Mobile base is ability already planned for the Forward Command Center
Starwars.wikia.com - like, you set the base up ans get a mobile base. but if its aleady planned for the FCC, it isnt needed enymore
