Age of Empires III: Galactic Conflict is a non-commercial, fan-based Star Wars themed mod under construction for Ensemble’s Studios Age of Empires III, drawing inspiration from several star wars games such as Galactic Battlegrounds, Force Commander and Empire at War, AoE3: GC aims to bring the star wars universe to the great RTS game of Age of Empires III.
So I always had a problem with the default playercolors from vanilla on in-universe content... It never felt too "Star Warsy", I had plans to change them in the other build, but opportunity never arouse.
Now, I'm happy to present to you the new playercolors! No fancy eyecandy this time, just regular editor pics -- then you can compare them with the default lightning set in contrast with a default terrain.
This will help the player immersion unto the Star War galaxy.
Fun fact, some of the colors are in-universe canon, as some of the RGB codes were taken directly from other sources (such as Battlefront II (2017) legion color codes), others were taken from various sources -- some even from Wookieepiedia's characters alignment infobox colors.

Btw, some colors, like grey, are really hard to see in the minimap. This is how I always explained to myself a really bright set of colors in vanilla - they are easy to see. How are you going to deal with that?
I realize that, and if that bothers player so much, then I might include a patch that returns the original player colors. But can't really have them at the same time, not at skirmish at least (hardcoded).
I suggest making the minimap colors brighter. That actually helps, because most other things on a minimap are a bit dark.
