Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.
Deety has spent many hours getting this system ready for our closed beta. As you can see, the size of it is unbelievable with the ESSD that is in construction being over 17km. Fortunately, with all our new improvements via, level of detail models and new hitbox makers, this system runs like a dream. Hope you enjoy the images.

This 5 year old laptop can run FW:ToW just perfect on max settings with an average FPS of 15 to 20 as the mod is right now. On low settings I get up towards almost 30 FPS. I will most likely be able to run the mod on this laptop when it is released.
Don't be discouraged. The Dev team is working on making this mod playable on older PC's without hindering the quality.
ps. Fondor is AWESOMESAUCE in-game!
