Report RSS Minimum Requirement for Full Invasion (Must read if you are new to this)

Please take a good read if you are new to the mod, otherwise if your pc aren't good enough you will suffer heavy crashes in game which means the mod will be 100% unplayable for you

If you have a 64 bit pc and tried all suggestion and still crashed when joining a server, that server is probably outdated and is still running v0117. If you can create a host-game without any problem. (Press host before press join in character menu). Then you will be able to play the mod
for solutions to fix crash if you have a 64 bit please check the other thread

If you know a way to fix warband 32 bit exe into 64 bit exe or if you know a way to fix these problems so 32 bit pc users can play the mod then please tell, you will be our savior if you do

This mod ,as many people are aware, is one of the most demanding warband mod out there. Without being compressed it is around 8.7 GB. after heavily being compressed the resources and textures the mod is now around 3GB. it is almost 4 times as big as Floris mod.

be sure to find out whether or not your pc is strong enough / decent enough to play this mod, as you will be wasting your time if you don't. I do feel truly sorry to those who have a 32 bit pc but there is nothing I can do.

Normally, people with outdated pc (even if they are 64 bit pc they will suffer crashes when joining a server, it might be fixed if they follow the fix crashing guide on moddb in tutorial section, but it will not work to those who have a below-average pc.

Minimum Requirement:

You should have at least 2.7 or above GHz, the more Ghz you have, the faster you will load Full Invasion.
Installed Ram memory, 4 or higher (RAM)
Operating System must be 64 bit pc, otherwise you will constantly crash in game/ in loading screen.
I3 operating windows system might not work well in this mod, i5 or above is recommended.

To check your pc specs, go to my computer, right click and press Properties. There you can check out what you have.

Good luck and hope you can play and enjoy the mod. Remember, this mod aim to have tons of factions all together, I realized that if the mod only focus on a certain theme it will died out pretty quickly because people will start to get bored of it, (E.G Hornburg, Anglo Zulu, Deluge), which is why is started this mod to have as many factions as possible.

Alex, this may or may not be better, but dunno.

"This mod is very demanding, requiring a med/high spec computer to run it smoothly and CTD free.

Make sure your PC is strong enough to play this mod. Otherwise you'd be wasting your time. I trully feel sorry to those who have a 32-bit PC, but there is nothing I can do. This mod is optimized for 64 bit PCs.

Even if you have a 64 bit PC, you may crash. To help minimize CTDs, follow this tutorial: Moddb.com

Alex, you need not worry. I have 5 computers in the house, all of which I built/upgraded myself. I know the specs of every single one of them, and some of them are the settings listed up there. With the minimum requirements, I don't get much CTDs (once every 4 or so maps) and an average FPS of 46 and a minimum of 29 in the High Res one. And a steady 62 and minimum of 34 on the low res one.

On the Recommended settings, I got around 96 and a minimum of 74 on the high res. On the low res one, I was able to get a steady 154 and a minimum of 139. And, good news: No CTDs.

Note that all these tests were done on medium settings.

Oh, and for those on laptops: Yes, this runs well on them too. No CTDs on certain laptops. A GT 330M should be good enough, as long as it's with a good CPU, like an i5 3570k.

Things up there that I tested and actually work well are: (I have 5 computers and 3 laptops, so don't question the requirements)

CPU: i5 3570k, i5 3570t, AMD FX 6100, AMD Phenom II X6 1075t, AMD Athlon II X2 240, Intel Xeon 5140, i3 3229y, and an Intel Xeon X5355

RAM: 2gb, 4gb, 8gb, and 12 gb (DDR3)

GPU: GTX 660 2gb, 560 ti 2gb, and 480 1.5gb; Radeon HD 6850 1gb, 6990 4gb, 5850 1gb, 4670 512mb, and 7870 2gb

If you have questions about your specs and stuff like that, PM me and I'll help you out. If you're planning to get a new PC/upgrade one, PM me.

PS: Alex, can I have rights on this page?
PPS: Also, on the Recommended Settings*, I meant to put in a recommended VRAM of 1gb.

-------
*Meant to put Requirements instead of settings.

You're welcome, and everyone: Enjoy.

Revan out.

Does a Phenom II X4 processor serve the high res version?
