I n this short tutorial I will be going over some of the most commonly reported problems with FUEL and how to resolve them.
Loading up the Game
Game Crashes
Deactivate all optional mods and try again. If the problem persists, remove your saved-game (back it up somewhere safe) and then try again. If the game now loads up OK then you can restore your savedgame. If the game continues to crash then it is likely you have not installed it correctly, a video showing how to install V15.4 can be found here.
Vehicle Incorrect, ID Error of various other pop-up messages on first launch.
This is basically because your saved-game needs to adjust to the mod, just press ok through each message. If it results in a crash then look at (1.) above for solution.
In-Game
Game Crashes when in online free roam.
Please ensure you have updated to the latest available patch. If the issue persists, then deactivate all mods, then delete the MODS and FUEL_REFUELED folders and then re-install the mod.
Game Crashes when selecting the Ironbear or Juggernaught (or possibly other vehicle).

The challenge will not let me proceed to pick a vehicle.
You currently do not have any of the required vehicles unlocked. Please confirm by checking the required vehicle in the challenge info.
Starting a challenge results in a game crash.
challenges written in CAPS do not work, they are being reworked to be compatible with the mod, with many being done each release. Currently over 60% of all challenges are compatible.
Missing text in the game menus
Are you running FUEL in a language supported by the mod? Currently supported is English and French, all other localization's may encounter issues. If you want your localisation supported then get in touch and you can assist me with the translation.
In online free roam other players vehicles show up differently to what they should actually be driving...
Make sure you are using the provided "optional - online compatibility" mod, but de-activate it when attempting any of the single-player challenges or career races.
In online free roam other players vehicle colors show up differently...
You can use the provided "Classic vehicle colors" mod to use the default color palette, however the standard FUEL: REFUELED one is much better.
I can't join other users races
Multiplayer races only work with other FUEL: REFUELED races for a number of reasons. Firstly because they use different tracks and secondly because REFUELED uses different handling and it wouldn't be fair. Ranked races are not supported by this mod, they are rubbish and full of cheaters anyway...
