I hope you can get ships to dodge and move while firing in this mod. The last combat vid just showed them there moving slowly forward and firing, which made them easy targets.
I also hope you've been advertising this mod as much as you can on Freespace 2 fansites. They've never had a game that offers this kind of fleet command capability for their universe's ships.
