One of the first models recently provided to me in alamo; it has now been coded!
You'll see from the highlighted hardpoint that all weapons are going under a complete re-doing and are going to be a complex system - here is demonstrated just how varied missile loadouts will be!
This escort cruiser is a light capital designed for support duties or as a frigate screen, but you don't get to see all of the cool stuff til the release!

I have a feeling that thing is going to be a pain to destroy...
This is only an escort cruiser; one of the smallest capital ships; what you'll realise when more images are released is that hardpoints are all now more numerous and tactically important; but don't worry, the new balancing of the game will not make them painful to take on; though capital ships are tougher this is an intentional shift in game balance, and one which is purposefully done with ship roles still very clear.
