Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning World War II modification for Battlefield 2TM and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942TM, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942TM featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and now to FH2.
In the 1920s the Finnish Army were working to replace the multitude of older weapon designs in use and move towards domestically produced weapons. in 1929 Aimo Lahti received a request to design a new pistol to be tested against the existing Lugers.
While externally similar looking to the Luger, Lahti's design was internally very different. Although a strong and sturdy looking design, it was not completely capable of handling the hotly loaded 9 mm ammunition intended for the Suomi submachinegun, which would over time crack the pistol's slide.
Several thousand L-35 pistols were delivered to the Finnish Army before the end of the War, never managing to replace the Luger. Our Lahti was made by Seth Soldier.
Never heared of this gun. Is it going to be the standard pistol for the Finnish Army or only in certain kits.
Finish version of the Luger.
It has a luger vibe going for it
Looks like amix between P08 and P38 :D
Another nice addition to the Finnish army. I wish there were more World War 2 games that featured the minor nations of WWII.
I read "Lahti" and I was expecting the 20mm rifle.
