Up until 2011's SIG551A1, this was the SigArm's answer to bringing the SAN Swiss Arms SG550 family to the US. This one of the later run models, dropping the ugly lower reciever and strange space-alien foregrip for a more practical Quad-Rail fore end and specially imported 550 Drum Sight. Other than that it's a Sig, it's pretty unremarkable, though that's not neccesarily a bad thing in this case.It fires 5.56mm NATO from STANAG magazines.
