It's the middle of the night and the moon isn't out. Do you expect a spotlight to hover above your head in the direction you're going? I can see it just fine. But as was pointed out in the comments for their latest news, some people unfortunately got darker monitors than others. So I can sympathize.

The lighting is very good... But as tharapita mentioned, some monitors with custom cfgs are not going to see it as you want

Nightvision goggles (Or a weapon scope maybe) or a flashlight will be needed.

And be sure to add plenty of artificial lights around the map.
