earths. Some, rich and flush with the new technologies. Some... not so much.
The Central Planets, them as formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule.
Few idiots tried to fight it, among them -- myself. I'm Malcolm Reynolds, Captain of Serenity.
She's a transport ship, Firefly class. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic.
We even picked up a preacher, for some reason, and a bona fide Companion.
There's a doctor, too. Took his genius sister out of some Alliance camp,
so they're keeping a low profile. You understand.
You got a job, we can do it.

Firefly was a short-lived show, but a cult hit a few years ago. Still going strong with a movie released last September title "Serenity," the series lives on in other mediums like fanfilms, music, fan fic, audio drama, and now video gaming.

This modification for Star Wars Battlefront II takes place in Serenity Valley, the turning point of the Unification War in the first episode of Firefly. You can play as either the Independents or the despised Alliance. Heroes Malcolm Reynolds and Lt. Womack are on the battlefield avaliable for your play as well.

This map is based off a show that's called either Firely or Serenity; I can't remember. Fans will know though. "Long time lurker, but on this one I gotta say my piece. Simply put, this is an AWESOME idea. If you've never heard of the show Firefly, you are missing out....it is on par (many say better) than Star Wars (esp. the new ones), and I pretty much agree (and I say this as a HUGE Star Wars nerd). It's a space western, so if you enjoyed Eps IV, V and VI because of the rustic feel...give FIrefly a shot, you WON'T be sorry....then see the movie, Serenity. You'll get more out of the movie if you see the series first. I'm a Browncoat for life man, you check it out and you will be too, I guarantee it."
