I would like to give it a very high rating.. I really did enjoy it.. before it kept crashing. (after railroad platform - seems like I'm not the only one getting this) It gives me this error:

Seriously creepy. I think I would class this as a horror mod. Great effects. Intense and unnerving.

Zombies were way harder to kill than expected. Difficult to headshot with all that swaying. Makes for a unique challenge.

Boi. That shotgun be meaty. A meatgun.

Striking level design and combat. Avant garde, yet cohesive.

Music is wild. Wacky and rather catchy. Dat bass.

Puts you into uncomfortable situations. I don't think I've ever had to kill manhacks with a rocket launcher, but here I am.

This mod really knows how to build atmosphere. I am engrossed. There's some psychological **** that makes me feel a certain kind of way.

Excellent vistas. Starry skies. Fantastic skyboxes and breathtaking environments.

There was some tricky platforming with unobvious solutions, yet somehow I was always drawn to the finish line. I could see how this would be frustrating if you're unfortunate enough to double back, thinking, "nah, having to jump onto the broken rebar and THEN jump to the next path with a perfect crouch jump can't possibly be the intended solution" and then go off wandering all over the lower levels looking for a path forward.

Became a bit predictable at times with the wave of enemies, then second wave in same spot as you emerge from a health cache after having taken heavy fire. Almost like getting a reset button and second chance, although it was overdone.

But goddamn, can't a mf chill out with the long range hitscan combat? I'm so sick and tired of getting nickel and dimed my way to an early grave. Exhausting.

The four pillars puzzle was not great. Abstract puzzle elements such as massive moving structures and no clear direction on what exactly it is you're supposed to be doing. Oh, look a warp thingy, lemme get in that. *jumps to death* All game long you've trained me to run into these things and now you pull the rug? EDIT: turns out I did this level in the wrong order and it soft-locked me. Don't crouch jump onto the warp platform lul.

The occasional crash or graphical oddity. Seemed like Leon got lazy as the mod progressed.

Oh boy, that Leon slog is starting to seep in. This mod should've ended 5 "hards" ago.

Combat quickly becomes tedious with just waves after waves of clumped hitscan enemies. Leon describes his playstyle as "cautious" which presumably implies camping and sniping from a distance. And I found that to often be the best strategy, but you were also occasionally rewarded for bum rushing with a shotgun and grenades. Good fun, just don't miss.

Leon has so many ideas, and this is such a great concept to tie together otherwise irrelevant stories. It just needs polishing. Truly quantity over quality, yet still intriguing to play. You can see how positive my review started out as I progressed through the intended 4 maps, then quickly went downhill as Leon "lost control" and started spamming half-finished maps left and right. However, I quite enjoyed this mod for the most part, especially the first half. That's saying something considering I found his other work unplayable.

Psychedelic parts were fun, but tiresome repetitive combat sections and incoherent story make this not worth playing

Great mod. As others have said, it is mostly a map pack tied together a by a loose story, but to me that doesn't detract from it's quality at all because the story doesn't take itself seriously in slightest. In fact, because of this, the mod is packed with many silly scripted sequences which are quite fun to watch. The level design of the maps themselves is excellent, and the mod even goes as far as adding hints to where to go, solutions to puzzles, and difficulty selections, making this one of the most player friendly hl2 mods i've come across. Not for everyone, but I suggest you give it a try.

Starts off a little umm .... I didn't like the flipping about and cutscenes which stopped me from playing. I just wanted to play! Thankfully, it gives me that after a while. Really enjoyed this after those initial scenes.

This mod is a joyful celebration of Source mapping and everything that I love about it and its community. It is funny, random, full of action, and even has some unique surprises in it. It took me some places that I had never seen mapped before with HL2 assets, plus it made references to Leon's old mods which invoked nostalgia. His mapping is crazy. Sure, the puzzles may be easy, there are a couple bugs (that could be avoided) and the path that the player takes is kind of unusual and sometimes hard to figure out while other times really obvious, but I didn't care about that.

At the end they said that months of work had to be removed with the new version. Really? Because this alone was outstanding. I had a tremendous fun with this and wish I could have similar experiences more often. Great job, Leon. Keep being awesome.

Nice long gameplay

It's an interesting mod, yes, even included with much replay value, but it fells like the normal "zombie there" , enemy on that corner and so. The environmental setting in this mod makes it more enriched as you feel like your on an acid trip and so on.
