The main purpose of the modification is to add the group "Alpha" ( elite squad of mercenaries leading the hunt for the main character). Optional: added new textures, character models, weapons and much more.

That's really well done, looks a lot like it's actually concept art with those textures.
Yes, Yes - a lot had to remake but in the end that's what happened.
