Ram'Or Heavy Frigate image - Fear The Dark Side mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
The Galaxy has seen a time of peace during the Pellaeon–Gavrisom Treaty. However something long forgotten stirs in the underworld, and threatens the peace everyone has worked so hard to achieve. Will you fight with the New Republic who has been betrayed from within? Will you fight with the Imperial Remnant who has been duped into a war they did not want? Will you side with the Mandalorians, who feel that they must bring peace to a galaxy dominated by force users? Or will you side with a Dark force rising, taking forces from within major governments? Think of this ship as Mandalorian Victory star destroyer. It's mean, it's fast, it packs a h**l of a punch. The Ram'Or was designed as a light "siege breaker", a term I have come to use when referring to ultra heavy capital ships like the Strident or Allegiance. This ship is basically a mini version of those, albeit which much less firepower. The Ram'Or comes equipped with two rapid fire mass driver cannons atop it, with execptional range and damage. This thing just tears up anything it comes across, including light capital ships such as the Rejuvenator and the Victory. It's weakness lies simply in its inability to fend off fighter and bomber attacks, whichs leads to one of the reasons it serves an amazing role as a carrier escort.
