FarCry 2010 is a graphic modification for the first Far Cry, released in March 2004 by Crytek's studios. The project started in April 2010 with the aim of carrying out a complete graphic redesign of all levels of the Far Cry solo campaign. CryEngine1 engine will be pushed beyond its limits to provide a visually stunning and immersive gaming experience.

The textures are good. But! Graphics and especially lighting looks unrealistic, like you put too HQ images for that crappy engine.

Be more explicit about the lighting. And do not compare to CryEngine2 you work with it ;)

But the high saturation and non photorealism is the beautiful thing about CryEngine 1.

Yep there's something wrong with the lighting and especially on the vegetation, there's no lighting on them and it looks dull with no reliefs.

I understand. but consider the limits of CryEngine 1.

I to make a relief on the vegetation, but then more false shadows on them. I have to make choices not always easy ... but nothing is impossible! ....

Description

In the Sandbox editor Far Cry, the types of textures are limited to maximum 7. I put as many rocks and cliffs models "brushes"on the ground, it allowed me to simply remove the texture of rocks and unnecessary to have two "Surface Type" extra and vary a little more kind of textures.
