Brings Africa to life by removing every last trace of the original color filter.
Tones down the depth of field for a crisp, clean appearance.
Sharpens textures to bring out small details.
Enhances bloom without making the effect disruptive by blinding the player.
Okay...now, FarCry2 does not work at all!! I have even used Revo Uninstaller to completely uninstall the game and all related files, then reinstalled the game, the patches, updated DirectX, etc. and the game still will not start......
Well, it's back to the vanilla graphics.....PLEASE, PLEASE repost the previous version of the GES....it worked wonderfully and made the game far more realistic.
Installed this mod, played it for about 15 minutes, decided I didn't like it. The vanilla textures looked ok to begin with, I agree they're a bit dull but this went overboard a little. I'd suggest maybe going back and toning the colors down a little, the bushes and tall grass just look too sharp for my taste. Decent mod, just needs some improvement.
I can't really describe why, but I don't think the new colors work with the original game, and contrasts with the blurs the game throws at you constantly even more than with the original color filter. It just looks... off.
