Fallout: New California adds an all new story around a new player character, an adopted resident of Vault 18, embarking on a journey through the wastelands of the New California Republic's Cajon Pass. An unofficial prequel to New Vegas, FPB adds hours of new gameplay and a fully voiced stand alone campaign.
Finally done after ages of work, the wasteland is ready to be played. In the first Installment, this area will be explorable, but won't contain a story. It is basically just a giant arcade sandbox that keeps getting harder until you die. Quests and voice acting will come in the 2nd Installment.

So you encounter all kinds of hostiles there until it's impossible to survive? That sounds like so much fun! I play the game on Very Hard because I like it to remain challenging throughout the entire story, so this is bound to get REALLY bumpy!
Are you guys planning on keeping this game mode going even after later installments? Because I think the concept would definitely float a few boats for many players out there.
When I say it gets... harder, I mean it's like this: Youtube.com
Of course, only you can choose how deep you stick you **** into the hornets nest. :p It'll stay like this in the last 2 installments also, but you'll have storyline scripts to help you out.
I don't know about harder, I'm still wandering with my crew, using the stashes and killing Survivalists and muties, it can be done,...jus sayin'
