The gundam is not in the mod at the moment, but I am thinking of adding it as a reward to a random event story.
secret Chinese laboratory if you have no techs just causes -health but with certain tech you get research bonuses +coin costs for higher but the highest give no research but a brand spanking old mecha. :3 just idea.
Perhaps if you want to add some special mechs, you could take a glance at Mechwarrior/Battletech.
While Liberty Prime export Democracy and freedom(along with nuke beams)...
