As Corporal Shepard, you are part of a platoon of marines supplying additional security at Monte del Oscuro (an astronomical research facility). Things never work smoothly as usual. Find a way to escape and lead your men to safety. There is a flashback to a Balkan Town to rescue a UN Representative from some warlords. Finally, Ice, a massive set of levels set in Antarctica. Something has been found in the ice and a number of foreign powers desire it. After the little accident at Monte del Oscuro, you have been given a hardship posting. Defend the base against hostile forces and rescue the scientists! (well that last part isn't necessary... if you don't believe in good or evil or are just plain bad) Good luck -Peter Lok

Edit: Figured it out. Turned out I'm running 1.1.1.1 and in this update Valve removed the pak0 files. This screw with Pak1 files cause it have to run in numeric sequences. To fix this get the files from the WON version
I had issues with this one, couldn’t get the door open with the sentry on the other side. I mainly found this mod to lack direction, the text story says to rescue scientists but you never get the chance. It goes through one environment than to a completely different one I wasn’t expecting, Aztec or Mayan.
Its very different but the fact the mod doesn’t seem to have much direction or anything interesting about its level design apart from the secret compartment that we get to see in the Temple map. Its not very hard apart from one big fight, and I never was much in short supply of ammo…
Some of the other maps like the short trip to Xen was plain and the part with the many windows with sharp shooters, is a good idea just done in such a bland way. Could have been better if there where more crevices to hide in, and a longer a bit more open alley ways instead being so cramped which made the area itself seem so… artificial, like it was randomly placed there.
In the end it feels like a mish mash of a few very different maps and so doesn’t make for a cohesive mod but still nice to see something different.

Why was my comment deleted? I had a link to this zip mentioned before. The .bsp's are in the pak file within the zip.
I think that this is Opposing Force mappack/mod. I'll try to add zip-file soon.
Hmm.. i've found this ffi_v1.zip package, but it does not include any .bsp files? Anyone knows better or?
