Hello there reader!
This is a quick update on the mod as it is currently at.
Right so on the modeling side of things I haven't been making as many models for the mode as I probably should be as I've been tied up with organizing a portfolio to send in to the University/Polytech/Whatever I'm joining next year which I have now been accepted for, so I can turn my sights back onto created models for this mod.
On the texturing models aspect, I have seen a couple of people asking when you will be seeing some textured ships - to answer that so no one else has to ask I am making ALL OF THE MODELS first before I start to texture. This is just so I get all of the modeling out of the way and then I can set my sights on texturing only.
Another quick one on that topic is once the models are done I'll get to working on the UI for the mod, so ship icons and all that fun stuff.
Finally - I have seen the comments about the main screen being too cluttered and WAY to much text and I am inclined to agree with your criticism. What I've done is shortened all the race summaries on the home screen to be easier to read and not so long for people who just want the quick details and such, but don't fret for everyone who does infact want to read the back stories so far (Which are great I might add) they will be in the Features section.
So that's it from me, if anyone has any recommendations or anything they want to say just chuck it in the comments and I'll see what I can do.
