Fall of Saigon is a Vietnam War modification for the Half-Life 2: source engine. The modification will be based in the realism of the Vietnam War, trying to portray things, events, and places as they actually were. The gameplay will also reflect as much of the realistic feeling as the development team is able to portray. The game will recreate the feeling of the jungle, or place the player in Saigon, or anywhere in between. The player will be emersed in all the sights and sounds of the jungle and will be able to use them to their advantage, and if they're not careful, it could be as dangerous as the enemy. Hand that carry a mag in AK reloading animation looks too loose. I really like how head shaking when take weapon out and reload. It look realistic.
Sorry for my bad english.
holy **** looks really awesome, and realistic yes
Nicely done!
what's with the left hand finger while knifing? That looks a bit weird.
The bolt moves slowly back to position at 0:08, an empty mag is being loaded in the gun at 0:14 (there's no bullets :o), the gun moves back before the mag is actually, the left hand isn't holding the mag completely at 0:17 and the thumb clips with the mag at 0:15 - 0:18. Other than that, the animation looks great. Very fluid.
First HL2 Mod i've seen with such Great Animation work.
It's very Immersive, Keep it that way and continue with the immersion. It should get you alot of views IMO.
Work like this deserves great attention. Awesome stuff man. Keep it up.
and on a Side note, that's aside from the inperfections which I already assume are noticed and will be fixed in further time. So i have no complaints on what looks out of the ordinary as of right now.
Just keep working hard on what you've started.
Again thanks for the positive and constructive criticism. Cant wait till we have more to show you. We are keeping much under wraps till we get some in-game footage to display.
