I wonder if it is possible to make it so a planet is the size of the gravitywell (have it lower then the ships above it) and make it so it looks like ships fighting in atmosphere
The Sins engine is not flexible enough to do this.
That's the first time I've ever heard the sins engine COULDN'T do something. Considering how the original game looked compared to the mods we're seeing now, I was beginning to wonder where the limit was. Hell, I was starting to think there was no limit.
If your in the modding circle you'd definitely know. We've spent the last 7 years trying to come up with creative work arounds, but there's just a lot things you can't do because it's hard coded in the engine.
Is it possible to disable this thing acting like a ship? It was quite surprised to see it FTL jump to another planet and follow a ship.
Ragnar Anchorage is the decomissioned Daidalos Mobile Shipyard, which came with a jump drive. Which is how they got it into the center of Ragnar in the first place.
On a related note, it built the first twelve Jupiter Class Battlestars.
