Imagine, a Hollywood producer got his hands on the game. The result would be similar to what the Cinematic Mod is: a graphics blockbuster, redesigned to the typical game to movie adaption with an orchestral soundtrack and beautiful people everywhere.

This is a mod made mostly by one man for his amusement for about 5 years. This fact alone makes this an incredible piece of work. HD textures and special effects are awesome. Of course it doesn't really look same as HL2. But haters please go away and play Vanilla HL2. If you don't like them, you can close HD NPC models, sountrack etc. But overall I like it very much, since original HL2 is graphically too old to be played over and over again. If you want to complain, go complain for the games that are made by big companies and sold for real money. Cheers to the developer.
