In FaceOff Paintball you can use your head movements to duck in and out of cover, whilst you pick off the other paintballers. It features a head-driven handy-cam effect to make you feel more immersed in the game and an online leaderboard that updates in-game as you play. The tracking works using a conventional web camera, so there's no need to go and buy any specialised equipment. FaceOff Paintball can be freely downloaded today from: torbensko.com/faceoff

I am going to use Nvidia 3D Vision Surround on the Gaming Rig I am building, and I want to be able to play this game with 3 WebCams (one per monitor) in order to increase the headtracking range on the X and Y Axis (I move my head around ALOT).

When a three-camera-setup becomes more commonplace, Seeing Machines might consider incorporating it into their FaceAPI :)

Well, they do allow you to use multple cameras to increase the interaction space for headtracking when using FaceLAB, so I assume the same would apply to FaceAPI. Another idea I was thinking of was if it did support multiple cameras, I might be able to get it to work with a stereoscopic camera in order to add a tiny bit of depth perception to the headtracking.

The FaceLAB uses multiple cameras so it can view the users from different perspectives. As you suggested, this can be used for computing depth. It also helps when computing the gaze direction. However, for this to work both cameras must be pointed towards the viewer's eyes. As such, the purpose of having multiple cameras isn't to extend the interaction space, but rather view the same space twice

Well, I was really only thinking about having three 3D Cameras setup with their FOVs overlapping so that I could play FaceOff with Depth Perception and whatnot, in addition to a larger interaction space.

Question: Does FaceLAB require a special devicese, or does it work with a standard WebCam like with FaceAPI?

The cameras are included as part of the system. They're high-def, infrared cameras produced by Point Grey I believe
