In 1947, the Germans are still bitter-sweet about their draw with the Allies and the Soviet Union, some thinking that Hitler was an idiot who couldn't bring Germany to its full potential, and some just happy about the fact they managed to take considerable land from the Soviets and consider that a win.
After the 2nd Great War, Germany's economy and industry were in shambles, after scrambling everything they had for a trade route for oil and exhausting every bit of Industry they had whether it was Military or Civilian every last drop was drained from it.

We need to fix this. FOR DEUTCHLAND!

And this is where Bormann comes in, his role in the rebuilding of the Nation is crucial to returning Germany to its former glory, his speeches all over Germany inspire the people to work, to build, to help their great nation.
It's a tough task, but a task that MUST be done. The renovations for Germany will take approximately a year to complete, bringing Germany on its feet again in late 1948 as projected by Bormann.

On the other side of the story, the morale in Germany is low, during the war many people lost family members and people they cared about, the country went from a cheerful state to a miserable nation in just a few years. To solve this, Hitler devised a great parade to "celebrate" the alleged victory, a parade that will spark the fire inside of the people, a fire that will light the path for the people and the nation!
One small issue that nobody could control... Assassination. During the parade, an anonymous man with an unidentified nationality strikes at Hitler, shooting a bullet into his shoulder, the shrapnel greatly damages it. The perpetrator is never caught.
