It's that time of week again, and I know everyone just can't wait until I post the ES2 Weekly Update! This week has been quite interesting. We have two new team members, got a testing server by some great hosts, and we finished the UTF Grenade Launcher. All very exciting stuff as we keep chugging

It's that time of week again, and I know everyone just can't wait until I post the ES2 Weekly Update!

This week has been quite interesting. We have two new team members, got a testing server by some great hosts, and we finished the UTF Grenade Launcher. All very exciting stuff as we keep chugging ahead towards the release of Half-Life 2!

First off is the UTF Grenade Launcher, all done by Dete. It is just simply an amazing-looking weapon, definetely among my favorites!

This week, we have the honor of welcoming two fine members to our development team!

First off is Gusdor. He is an animator and has taken the role of Lead Animator! We hope to show you some of his top-notch work in the coming weeks!

Next up is gdog. He is one of the rare breed of sound editing! So get your speakers out of the closet kiddies, we hope to show you some of his high quality work very very soon!

Now for those who pay attention to the site, you may notice that we have a new banner on the left. It is for our dedicated server, and a damn good one it is! It is hosted by DGS Logic.

In case you are wondering these are the server specs:

CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon 2.4 GHZ with 512kb Cache each
Memory: 2048 MB DDR RAM
Hard Drive: 2x73 GB SCSI
Port: Dual Gigabit lan
MotherBoard: Intel


So as you can see, we will be testing on top-notch hardware to make sure you guys have a great and smooth gaming experience with the mod! Please note though, that we will test on all sorts of server hardware from the min specs, to the best we can get our hands on. We want everyone to have an awesome experience and we will be sure it's optimized for all sorts of hardware!

Hopefully soon we can get to work on the mod with coding and start getting some playable builds! HL2 is gold, so that means you guys are just that much closer to playing ES2 :)

Oh, and we do in fact plan to give many exclusive in-game screenshots to ModDB as soon as we can :) Great community, and a lot of people on here like our work which is good :D hehe
