What's the etpub client?
It's the soon of old mod Shrub.
The etpub client is an optional client-side component that introduces many bug fixes and also functionality missing in the original client (see Et.tjw.org). The client is an optional component of etpub, and it's up to the server admin to install it or not.
How do I install the client on my server for people to download?
Put the client pk3 in your /etpub folder and restart your server. Clients will download the file upon connection. If you are using download redirection (your clients download from a web or ftp site) then you will have to create a /etpub folder in there and put the client pk3 in that new folder.
What version of the client goes with what version of the etpub server component?
Any client version works with any server version (starting with 0.5.1). Future client and server version will be independant of each other.
I run a server. How do I make the client download optional?
If you install the client .pk3 in your /etpub folder everyone will have to download it unless you run in sv_pure 0 mode.
