A high quality mod aimed to improve the base game of Soulstorm while also providing a new experience in how the game plays.
I've heard many complaints about the taskbar being too big or the map and command icons being switched around unnecessarily. In response, me and Miros have been working to design a new UI that mirrors a bit of Dawn of War 2's taskbars. Selecting units will provide the taskbar shown in the screenshot while selecting buildings will overlay the unit information with the 15 grid taskbar for unit construction and research. Multi-selection/squad holding will have icons appear at the bottom between the map and unit taskbar akin to DoW3. We're hoping to have this made for the next release as well as taskbar themes made for both Space Marines and Orks.

I agree, it is very compact and tidy.
Also allowing much portion of the scree to be constantly visible.
More mods needs to focus on making UI's like this. The UI for dawn of war is way too big by today's standards, it takes almost half the damn screen up. Going from Relic's new games back to this always makes me feel claustrophobic. I think Dawn of War 2 was peak RTS HUD.
