1.17 is now released! Originally meant to be version 1.2, the build has been in development for about seven months now and for good reason. Much of the featured content has been overhauled across the mod from fixing aircraft pathing for every existing map, reworking the entire armour piercing system to make armour more durable, decreasing the damage values of every weapon to help extend unit longevity, reworking the entire UI to help free up space on the screen, and more! Portraits are now being stylized and painted with Orks pretty much set to get their own UI theme (unfinished as of now). The Weirdboy is the newest unit featured in the mod along with several new fx accompanying him. Other brand new fx were added in reworking Flamers, Shuriken Cannons, Autocannons and Deep Strike Markers for Space Marines and Chaos. A new eight player map was also included: Arx Haustrum.

Overall, 1.2 was meant to be the example that 1.0 should have set. Future versions shouldn't take as long since this build included a ton of new content. KEEP IN MIND, many UI features are still being developed and will hopefully be more final in the next upcoming version. Features like multi select portraits, squad hold portraits and building addon portraits don't have any background assets for their icons. The skins for both Orks and Space Marines aren't finished either so the HUD isn't necessary in its final stage.

TO INSTALL: Make sure you delete the "redux" folder in your Dawn of War directory if you have a previous version already installed. Extract the contents of the zip file into your Soulstorm folder. It's recommended to use the Mod Manager to open the mod instead of directly through the game.

Here are some some unforeseen issues with this version to keep in mind going in. More will be logged if spotted:

• The ability recharge bar for jump abilities does not show progress.
• Chaos Predator Autocannon is using the wrong fx.
• Haemonculus Soul Destruction is not tied to the right icon and will be removed later on.
• The Maps Rokclaw Foothills, Vile Reef & Hell Beneath have misaligned path sectors and units will get stuck on impassible areas. Avoid playing these maps for now.
• Necron Lord's Nightmare Shroud doesn't work. Will be fixed in next update.
