Enderal is a total conversion in development for Skyrim and the sequel to Nehrim: At Fate's Edge by SureAI. The story of Enderal is not set in the Elder Scrolls world of Tamriel, but takes place in its own universe, creating a new, interesting world completely unrelated to Skyrim with a complex, dark storyline and thousands of secrets to discover.

As this year slowly strolls towards summer (well - in Europe, at least), we're happy to tell you that we're making quite some progress at the moment. Frankly, we haven't shown a lot of ingame-material in the past months, which is, however, apt to change pretty soon. A great part of the regions and levels are now reaching their final stage, and we're also progressing pretty well in terms of gameplay-programming and quest-implementation.

Well met,

as this year slowly strolls towards summer (well - in Europe, at least), we're happy to tell you that we're making quite some progress at the moment. Frankly, we haven't shown a lot of ingame-material in the past months, which is, however, apt to change pretty soon. A great part of the regions and levels are now reaching their final stage, and we're also progressing pretty well in terms of gameplay-programming and quest-implementation.

As mentioned a couple of months ago, our artists are currently working hard on improving and optimizing their workflows (and skills) with 3D-modeling software such as ZBrush - which will be a must once we start working on our prototype. We already shared two of the results with you, and we're happy to share another one.

The creature below is a so-called "Leor", a domesticated creature used as a mule as well as for farming in Enderal. We hope you'll like its design as much as we do. :)

Furthermore we'd like to show you a new illustration in the Loading-screen series, this time from a mythical region in Enderal, called the "Lost Forest".

And finally the freshly proofread and translated chapter 4 of the "Butcher".

All the best,

SureAI

Heh, that Leor looks like a cross between a Yak and a dog (you know, those really wrinkly dogs). Which is awesome.

It looks more like a Rhino/Antelope. and the dog you were thinking of are called Shar-Pei.

The forward facing eyes and large rhinarium ARE most reminiscent of a dog.

Amazing stuff, thanks for the update SureAI :) The design of the Leor is indeed very interesting, however there's something strange about its huge eyes imo. I think it might look more natural if the eyes were a little smaller and placed more laterally, a bit like those of an elephant.

Yep, this is because they are simply painted on in ZBrush. Our artist replaced them afterwards - with "real" eyes (as well as the mouth) in Blender. :)
