Empires 2.21 has been released and includes several bug fixes for 2.2.

Empires 2.21 is released, with quite a few small additions, such as muzzleflashes, bullet shell ejection, and a whole host of bugfixes, including Dig-In correctly working again, Repair station repairing left armor, and a possible fix for the dreaded commander crash.

You must have 2.2 installed to apply this patch.

Empires 2.21 Changes:

Added: Shells now eject from all weapons
Added: Muzzleflashes now light up the area around them
Added: Rudimentary stat tracking interface. Only records maps wins/losses for now.
Added: emp_sv_stats_enabled cvar.
Added: Customizable falloff for vehicle MGs.

Modified: Added more tickets to Canyon (prev: 200, now 300)
Modified: emp_mvalley: Uses nice looking water
Modified: Re-enabled the bump maps for BE building textures
Modified: Joining a team with more players is not possible.
Modified: Concussion grenades don't blind spectators.
Modified: Entering a vehicle after throwing a sticky grenade at it no longer does damage to the vehicle
Modified: Jeeps can now carry 4 plates of reactive armor.
Modified: Infantry weapons have been slightly modified.

Modified/Fixed: Canyon Optimizations, viscluster added, increased the size of hint brush covering skybox

Fixed: Scoreboard text wasn't properly aligned.
Fixed: emp_glycencity: Fixed vehicles clipping through short walls at the middle flag
Fixed: Mines could be dropped in the commander interface
Fixed: Sever skipping maps
Fixed: Map brush wasn't properly unsticking people.
Fixed: Commander could change team in command interface using jointeam.
Fixed: Rifleman armor, 'dig in', and squad armor aura now affect damage received.
Fixed: Repair station not repairing vehicle that has armor left.
Fixed: Melee attacks were not lag compensated.
Fixed: Possible fix to commander crash relating to physics
Fixed: It is now possible to revive people who have killed themselves. It doesn't give a point.

Didn't work, it had a engine error and crashed. Funny tho it opened up with the lost cost menu screen...and then it crashed.

Never played this mod very much before when i downloaded because of crap pc was to slow but new pc now will download looks really fun like battlefield.

i love this mod but when im treying to go on a server all most every time "Serve is useing different class table" or my map is not ok whit the servers map!! WTF :o

It means that some of the scripts differ form the ones the server uses. Make sure you've got 2.2 (full install), the 2.21 patch installed and that you're trying to join a 2.21 server.

Also, there's a few servers that run non-standard scripts for testing purposes. These update quite frequently and unfortunately this makes people not able to join.
