Empires is a mod for Half-Life 2 which will combine the genres of real-time strategy and first person shooter. Each team has four classes to choose from (scout, rifleman, grenadier, and engineer) with unique weapons and skills each. One player will become the commander by entering the team's command vehicle to build the team's base and lead his team to victory. Once your base is built up, purchase vehicles from your team's vehicle factory to open up another facet of Empires' gameplay. Vehicles can be customized with unique weapons, armor, and engines. The commander can research improvements to all aspects of vehicles such as longer range cannons, homing missiles, and armor-piercing machine gun rounds. Once your team is prepared, lead an assault into the enemy base. The enemy team is defeated when all players are wiped out with either no place to respawn or no reinforcements remaining or the team's command vehicle is destroyed.

Heh, the old model rocked, just that the player hardly got to see any of it. What you saw was basically a tube that shoots and not very satisfying. This model is more fun to play with while retaining th quality we were looking for.
What's wrong with fugly guns? They kill just as well in-game.
Much better.
that gun is fugly :/ ...
So 's most everything else :-/
Much less fugly then the old one, moreover, this IS the hobo army, so what did you expect?
i dont get get the idea of a hobo army i mean the only factor is materials and even the poorest armies today can make michanicelly sound blow back or rotating bolt systems i mean take the murlov or the Julia.hanovercomputer.com i mean theres always a way around materials or they could buy arms from neutral manufacturers these guns you make look like WWII and the art in general in this game is so weird every model doesnt quite fit i mean everything looks like it belongs to a seperate army you guys should have slowly built up and widened the gameplay slowly initially releasing and focusing only on, on foot combat
Work on sentance structure, and then I could be able to figure what you said out.
I honestly can't see what diffrence it makes.
The models are polished, the gameplay is excellent.
wheres the problem?!
averagely modeled guns fit right in.
The only problem i see here so far is the fact that people who never played empires came in and complained about something any other empires player completely understands.
