TIE/LN Interceptor Squadron.
The successor to the TIE Fighter, the TIE/LN Interceptor was faster, stronger, and equipped with more firepower than it's predecessor.
Unmistakable for it's dagger-like appearance, the TIE/LN had a reduced profile and increased pilot visibility due to it's unique design.
TIE/LN Interceptors traveled in squadrons of eight, enough to destroy and X-wing, Y-wing, B-wing, or possibly even A-wing group.
