This image features two major improvements over v1.1.
The most obvious thing is the ability to change your Skirmish or Multiplayer color to black, we felt this was a great addition to the color list and it fits the Galactic Empire quite nicely.
The other is that now Sandtroopers and Snowtroopers, along with their Rebel counterparts, have selection circles underneath them like the rest of the units in-game.

Honestly, the sand/snowtroopers from when I played were not worth the investment. At 2 pop per squad of 6, you might as well get two regular trooper squads.

yeah 2 pop and only 6 guys is kind of a let down, they get killed just as easily as any other infantry IMO

For v1.2 the ground population system is being completed remastered. This specifically includes all SOC units.

you can't change the textures of ground units right? to put them in another game I don't know about the batelfront the normal units look very polygonal
