So here is the MC80 Wingless we are currently working on.
You can see new engines which have been applied to the MC 80 Liberty as well as they fit better :)
The creation of the Mon Calamari textures werent easy but with the gigantic help of Delta we can soon show you the first Substance Designer Texture in ECM. (Before that we mainly used Substance Painter to create textures)

You may see those holes on the side. These are for the Blisters.
These means more Broadside firepower for the Wingless variant in comparrison to the Liberty Class. Thanks to jabby_the_jabster who made this suggestion! Another thanks goes to nkorn! Who helped analyze the textures as well :)
As reference we used the YVaW MC 80 Wingless.

You used the yvaw as reference. You used the like, 10 year old eviljedi model as a reference...we as the modding community 10 years after that old, decrepid thing was constructed, cannot think of a more fancy, flashy, or smooth mc 80 construct than EJ did in his time?

Instead of using the far supperior method of putting the turrets on the blisters, these guns are instead put into large, square, hollow, indentations on the ship? Bbs.stardestroyer.net

Come on man this could've been so much more, there was so much potential to tap into. The sides look so flat, the hangers don't seem to fit into the design, they're just, there, as a large gaping hole.

You're a great bloody modeller but damn, this is beneath your standard quality.

That is the reason I posted it here and called it a WIP. Im currently boolean things together but the polycount is raising pretty high. I will see how much I can do with HP to LP baking on this guy.
These are no hangars but weapon platforms for the guns.
Thank you for the reference images. I didnt find a lot in the internet but these will help out a lot!!
Dont worry that is by far not the final result I am looking for ;)

In that case I'm glad it's still being worked on. If the poly count is getting to rediculous, I would suggest cutting on those engines, I don't know how many sides those cilinders have but damn, it looks to be perhaps a bit excessive. It is very nice detail for certain, but I always found that adding sides to the cilinders really drives up the poly count more than general detail, such as indents and extrusions on other parts of the ship.
