This picture collage shows a future design that we chose for our hero Thorin III. Stonehelm. We felt the freedom to create an interesting looking character design for him, yet orient it at the movies visual style.
Thorin III. is a hot tempered, young dwarf. Much a brawler like his father Dain, he never turns down a fight and always seeks a new challenger. His heritage and skill earned him the rank of Captain, though he prefers to fight on his own. In times of peace Thorin III. patrols the Iron Hills with a small group of guards, fighting off beasts and eastern raiders.
The Concept Art shows a FUTURE design, that most likely will NOT YET be implemented in the next Edain Patch. But it is planned to adapt it as a 3D model and integrate it into Edain someday.

But if he is going to be abel to switch between Sword and Axe I tnk the Sword should be on his Hip since this way he looks too much like Berserker! :)
And I like his Frist fCe but he needs some beard but not as the other one,but then again ti is all my personal preferencess! :)

hmm I think if it's a short sword then put it at his hip, however if it's a 2 hander, put it on his back, I think yes he need a beard but something shorter than his fathers, perhaps with boar tusks?
As I see the Hilt and Shape ofthe Sword I think it is a Two Bladed ONe Hander Short Brought Sword XD And I think he will looks Epic on his Hip! :) What you guys tihnk of the Helmet!? :)
I like the helmet, because it has that movie feeling and is very original at the same time :)
Yes, i guess its a shortsword, or it would be very broad, also you dont need a two handed axe and a greatsword.
About the helmet, i do really like it.
It does have similarities to a gladius.
I really like the Helmet, obviously it reminds me of Dain but i suppose it's meant to!
then again, if it is a one hander, i think a shield would look good on his back. a hexagonal dwarven small shield on his back with his sword on his back or only a sword on his hip
And what about Murin and Drar? Are they going to get a more movie style? I'd love that so much!
I have made suggestions for that exact purpose on MU and the Team said they will consider it! :) I ahve sugggeste some minor cosmetic hcanges for them like new Helmet and Sword,and new Bow and Quiver,Helmet! :)

Yes, I agree, but this clothing is not bad.
It's good to see some creative takes on the dwarves but I believe he still needs a beard of some sort. Not too sure about the plumes on his helmet either. Love the axe design though.

I like the current Thorin III.'s appearance too, but it's not bad either. I like the clothing and the left face is badass :)
Reminds me of Torvin from Shadow of Mordor but he might be completely different, LOL
