EAWKey - Function to Key assignment Tool for "Star Wars Empire at War"
EAWKey currently gives the player the ability to assign whatever key on the keyboard or the mouse he/she likes to the pause function in Empire at War.
There is for whatever reason in the original Star Wars Empire at War no possibility to assign a key to the pause function. The player has to click on a button in the game to pause it. Thats obviously not very handy and does not work as fluent as if one could assign it to a key. Especially for players who regularily use the pause function EAWKey comes in very handy.
If there is enough interest it is planned to expand the functionality.
So if you have any suggestions let me hear them.

It's not pointless. The pause option lets you order untis, bring in reinforcements, and explore the map, while being paused. Using the menu will only bring you the menu options and you will be able to do none of the above.

there's a lot eaiser way. just hit escape to bring up the menu. does the same thing as pausing. rofl. Dude made a whole effing mod just to pause. rofl
